In systematibus communicationis sine filo, tales divisores potentiae vulgo adhibentur ad signa antennarum ad plura modula recipientia vel transmittentia distribuenda, stabilitate et aequilibrio signalis servatis.
Technice loquendo, divisores potentiae quadriviales typice construuntur utens componentibus passivis, ut lineis microstrip, copulatoribus, vel mixtoribus.
